I thought I would put a lil' step by step on how to make your own Dodo HomeBrew wax.

Here is the HB(HomeBrew) kit laid out:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01751.jpg?t=1322507017

1st,you put the wax only(no solvent)into a sauce pan. Then you fill the pan with water, till it reaches the wax line of the jar.I used a glass measuring cup with a pour spout,to help keep water from splashing into the jar of DRY wax
It's very important to not let any water into the jar thru the manufaturing process of your wax.WAX and water don't mix ;):
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01752.jpg?t=1322507008

Then you pour your solvent into the jar of wax:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01753.jpg?t=1322507000

Once the solvent is emptied into the dry wax container, the contents level will fill to almost the brim of the jar:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01754.jpg?t=1322506992

Use the supplied wooden stick to mix the wax and solvent together:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01755.jpg?t=1322506985

Putting empty solvent jar and stick to the side.I use this stick again, and do not toss away(garbage):
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01756.jpg?t=1322506977

Put the flame of your burner to almost high,to get the water to boil:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01758.jpg?t=1322506968

Waiting for water to boil(:work:):
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01759.jpg?t=1322506961

http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01760.jpg?t=1322506952

Ya,Water is boiling.Take your wooden stick and give another good stir.Don't stir too aggressively because you will have wax in your pan when everything cools/dries.Ask me how I know ;):
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01761.jpg?t=1322506943

http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01762.jpg?t=1322506936

Reduce your heat/boil,to a low heat/simmer:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01764.jpg?t=1322506928

Back to a simmer, and another good stir:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01765.jpg?t=1322506919

As you can see, there are still carnauba flakes present.Keep the simmer going:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01766.jpg?t=1322506911

http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01767.jpg?t=1322506905

A few minutes later(still simmering)and there are still nuba flakes present on the bottom:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01768.jpg?t=1322506895

Give it time and eventually,ALL the flakes will have melted. This is where you can turn off the flame:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01769.jpg?t=1322506887

NO nuba flakes present:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01770.jpg?t=1322506880

http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01771.jpg?t=1322506872

After you turn off your flame and make sure NO caranuba flakes are present in your jar, fill the water line with cold water until it almost reaches the top jar threads(or to the jar threads):
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01773.jpg?t=1322506854

And let everything cool down a bit,:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01775.jpg?t=1322506837

I forgot to mention, make sure you don't have the wooden stick in your concoction as it starts to cool/harden.
This is after an hour or so after letting everything cool down on the stove:
http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd466/ImpressiveImageDetailing/2011-11-282/DSC01776.jpg?t=1322506829

The insrtuctions say to let cool/harden for 12-24 hrs and should be ready to use at the latest 48hrs.After the jar was ambient tempature-I moved it to the garage to finish curing/hardening where it was 44deg F.:

Hope this helps anyone :)

Most Importantly,

What did you name it?

That pretty much shares the experience Rand and I had when we made our Home Brew Kit (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/43588-cucumber-explosion.html)...

As long as you follow the directions to a "T" you're guaranteed success...

Nice step-by-step write-up.

Awesome step-by-step. This actually made me want to pick some up! I wish the had a formula where people could experiment and produce their own color of the product.

when you stirred it a little too hard did you bring a new meaning to "non stick pan" ?
