OK, I've been toying with the idea of doing a full correction on our two daily drivers and topping with a resin coating for quite some time. With all the glowing reviews of Opti-Coat recently, I've had it in my cart more than once but have failed to pull the trigger each time, deciding to wait for a sale. ;)

The current Cyber Buster is mighty tempting, however.

What would you use on your daily driver? Cquartz, or Opti-Coat?

Opticoat has an incredible track record. I haven't seen any durability reports as old as OC. I also don't like all the "reload" bs of some other other brands. I can re-load Megs #7 with a spray wax monthly and get great beading too.

They are both wonderful TopNotch coatings.
The OC2.0 is labeled as a "Permanent"coating where as CQuartz is advertised lasting up to (2) years.
They both have different application method's.
OC2.0-Wipe on/Walk Away
CQuartz-Wipe on/Wipe Off(after cure time)

Really up to you which you decide for your DD.

I put CQ on my DD as I knew I'd be doing paint chip repairs and wanted that to be an easy thing to do and not have to polish out the whole hood. I've layered the CQ as well.
