I just watched this over at the OPT Forum and thought Anthony did a bang-up job at demo'ing application methods of OC2.0:

Very interesting,I may have to get a compressor or at least try the:
YellowPad/LatexGlove/Blue Shop PaperTowel
(YLB)Method.

Thank You Anthony for creating the video :dblthumb2:

Won't the shop towel scratch the finish? Paper towels don't feel that soft to me.

IDK but I was thinking of using one of my CarPro's Suede MF clothes:

I used Anthony's method but substituted a surgical face mask.
Worked great!

The blue shop towel are pretty soft. They feel sorta like a fabric paper weave and coming from Anthony I have no worrys at all about using it on paint.

Hey,that's great to hear Tim.Thank You for posting that info.
I've tried the CarPro blue MF's with the CarPro foam block before with OG,but I had missed a couple of high spot's on a customers vehicle and had to bump down with PoliSeal.Maybe with OC2.0,it won't cure as fast .

So for spray application what all do you add into the spray gun? I have no experience with spray guns... I do have a compressor however..

Unless you have extra money to waste for ease of application it is not feasible. He said on average it takes 40cc's of product used neat in a mini spray gun. That's over a $100 worth of product just to spray one car. With that much product its easy to do 6 or more cars using an applicator.

Oh wow.. Yeah, that does not seem worth it at all. I do want to try the latex glove trick though!

When I was at Sema I spent some time with Chris from OPT they are coming out with a new applicator for the OC Chris had one to try out and the new applicator is awesome .It's completely a new designed pad which doesn't adsorb the OC and also has a place you can slide your fingers into too help glide the pad .Stupid me didn't take a picture of it hopefully Chris will be posting one soon .

Adam, thanks for sharing this! If it's 1/2 as good as the mitt for ONR, it'll be fantastic!

Why do I have the feeling Chris is going to be groaning about another leaked product...

PS Anthony posted the vid in this thread himself not long ago: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/41758-my-methods-applying-opti-coat.html

I can't be too upset when I'm the one who demoed it. I have them ordered and will have them soon. I'll get some pics in a bit.

It sounds like the Autoglym perfect palm applicator.
