:xyxthumbs: i got this for the fenderwells, but found it too drippy. megs WBD is perfect for wheelwells! i tried the ASD yesterday on the tires. sprayed directly on. let it set up. did not wipe it. impressed! left a nice no run shine on the tires. not overly shiney. just right.

That's what I was wandering. Also I think that ASD is silicone based if I remember correctly. Your tires will probably turn brown after a while and it'll take forever to scrub them clean. But to each their own. :D

megs water based dressing.
Meguiars Water Based Dressing 128 oz., vinyl and rubber dressing, dash dressing, engine dressing (http://www.autogeek.net/water-based-vinyl-dressing.html) (the BEST i have used for wheelwells. spray and walk away. leaves a drip free shine on the wells)

the ASD mentions it can be used on tires. will it brown? guess i'll find out.

Meguiars D160 All Season Dressing (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-all-season.html)

I noticed that, so I don't use ASD much anymore.

M40 looks great on tires.

I have been using ASD on my tires for years. I have never had any browning issues. It's my fav tire dressing.

I used ASD on tires for a long time as well. I love the look. But after some reading I found silicone is not best used on tires, well now I am finding it is only certain types?

Would you say it is better than the griots undercarriage spray?

ASD is not better than Griots Undercarriage Spray. Although a little pricey that stuff ROCKS !!!! I use it for all my show cars..

I haven't used Griots but I have used Chem Guys Bare Bones and that stuff works very well. Mist on and give it a wipe if you want the shine to be knocked down some.

griots dripped and ran for me. granted, after wiping it down it did great. BUT...thats what i love about megs WBS. spray on/ walk away. now megs ASD also ran and dripped in the wells. i was looking for a SOWA product. another close second is DK BLACK OUT. also water based and diluted 50/50.
