Hey guys

Was just wondering if anybody has ever used the Durrmaid 1600 Super Mini Hot Water Extractor ?

Its on sale for only $690cnd with free shipping!(eShine Canada, Car, Wax, Polish, Polisher, Tire Dressings, Detailing Supplies, RV, Truck, Boat, Automotive, upholstery, marine, convertible, Microfiber (http://www.eshine.ca)) I checked online and it sells for around $750us+shipping.

I'm slowly building up my clientele. I only do this part time ( planing to keep it that way) but I'm sure it will pay off by itself in the spring.

What are your thoughts ?

Thanks!

That is something you will have to decide. How long before it pays for itself?

Two thoughts...

1) I think you violated the rules

2) Shipping will eat your lunch

It all depends on the amount on carpet shampoo I do next spring, but lets say around $80 each ? Carpets get really dirty here with all the salt they put on the road during winter.

I thought about the rules but eshine is actually sponsored in the international vendors section :)

Dear Friends

What does a hot water extractor do?

Extract hot water, obviously, but prior to browsing this site, I'd never heard of one of these in all of my forty-two years.

What's it good for?

Are you doing this at home or on the road? If at home I would buy one that's used for household carpet with hose attachment and it would do the job.

Makes hot water (wet steam) injects hot water into carpet and vacuums it out. Same as household units.

Don't confuse hot water and steam, they are not the same. The machine he is looking at does not inject steam, it will spray hot water.
