the customer ran over something but i cant put my finger on it. to clean inside the wheel wells i used degreaser at full strength with some brushes & that worked well.
clay removed it from the rims. to make things worse, i had to be extra carefull removing the stuff form the side of the car because there were parts that had some clear wrap material. the stuff was thick & raised on the paint. i did first try some lq thinner but decided it was best to use up a few pieces of clay instead. what a frustrating mess!

i saved the front bumper for the end because i dont enjoy polishing clear bra material. i spent a good amount of time taping it up.
taping is easy & fun to me. its the soft material that i dont enjoy working with!

came out good! only thing is, i think its still an incomplete job if the nooks and crannys arent done, just taped. in my opinion, i would do the nooks crannys and go back with a soft brush and clean every one just so they're protected and preserved too. but thats just me, still good job!

nice work! like night and day bro!

fabiolas4, the tape is to protect the edges of the panels and also the plastic parts from the rotary buffer. im sure the nooks and crannys got protection added to them

Looks good, good job.

Just a FYI...

Did you know these cars were designed and built in Australia? then they were exported to the US under request. Basically they are an Australian 'Holden Commodore' underneath

I can believe that, GM doesn't seem too interested in coming up with their own stuff anymore!

Nice work on that one Andrew!

Did that just spend one day at the shop? If so, I hope you have help if your doing a 3 step polish and all the other work that goes into making a car look that great.

Also the Pontiac GTO coupe and the Pontiac G8 is also Australian built.
