new black truck/ single stage paint

Hello everyone, I have two quick question and hoping someone can give me some direction. question one, Just bought a 2011 silvarado black, it had been on the lot since 2010 so needless to say the paint isn't perfect just a lot of very light scratches from the snow brooms. any products you guys suggest that will remove those scratches using a porter cable 7424 In just one or two steps?

question two. a buddy of mine just bought a 89 caprice with 55,000 mi sadly its his dream car and he wants it detailed. if it is a single stage paint is their any different steps i should take? and can i use the same products i would on base coat clear coat systems?

Some pictures of the paint condition on the truck would be helpful to determine the right products.

you can use the same products with a single stage paint. I think they are just softer

89 Caprice should be clear coated unless it was resprayed at a small mom-and-pop shop with no booth.
