Garry, Find a C5 vette and you will be alot happyer, no rust but watch out for the a-holes that like to key them.

They are lots of fun to drive and all the hot girls love them......

hahahahhahha

I owned 4 of these cars few years ago. Make sure the turbos are not leaking any oil. Also, if you buy it, change all the fuel hoses and vacuum lines. The rubber fuel hoses in the engine bay tend to leak quite a bit.

How many miles on the car?

Definitely needs to be re-painted!! If you plan to do that and fix all the body work, go for it. Obviously, make sure the turbos are not leaking oil like white said. I had a 300zx(non-turbo) years ago and I LOVED the feel of the cockpit!!! If you can get a GOOD deal, knock it outta the park!

If your looking for a weekend fun car (project) and the price is right, I say go for it

If your looking for an everyday driver, forget it. Those TT's will cause you fits

What is the asking price?

What would you consider a good deal, Mark?

My best friend is a car buyer for a large car company. I'll ask him what a good price is for that car with the miles, condition, etc. Is this from a dealer or private party?

I'm not Mark of course, but a fair deal would be between $900-$1,500 depending on mileage and what mechanically needs to be done. Not to mention that jack'd up lip your going to have to fix

I will agree with Flash that the TT's tend to have a lot of problems!

Private. I detailed it today. One of my clients.

KBB says $6880 for this car in Fair condition from a private seller.

Especialy with high milage ^ The TT's actually hurt the value IMO. Your looking at a ticking time bomb :surrender:

You need to get this thing for the low low or walk Garry Dean :bolt:

What is the low low if kbb is nearly 7k?

If I won the lottery I wouldn't give that much for that car

KBB is not a good guide. My buddy told me that if the car is mechanically sound, in fair paint condition, $2500-$3000 would be a safe price. He also told me that you can get both turbos(refurbished) for $600 plus labor.
