Was hoping to purchase one of the shoulder holder microfiber aprons that autogeek once sold. I googled and checked all over the net and can't seem to locate one anywhere. I realize poorboys has the baby blue one but it is not for me.

I am almost considering buying cloth and using a sewing machine if I can't find something that works well and is soft.

Is there a apron that has worked well for you?

Thank You!

Check your local fabric store. There is a fabric store here is Tallahasee that sells super soft materials. Same stuff in baby blankets.

Stopped by a fabric store today. I have a new appreciation for what a manufacture may go thru to determine which material.

I saw some soft fabrics such as suede, velour, flannel, polyester, cotton twill, some denims, and cuddly plush which probably was the softest.

Soft and durable are sometimes not connected together.

The CG one is just cotton with no shoulder holder. I have one and just attached a velcro loop to mine.

Hello rzatch!

I do mean "that one" the shoulder holder microfiber detailing apron by the edge. Since last night I e mailed the distributor and they state the apron is no longer available due to lack of sales. To me it seems like a great product and am disappointed it is no longer available.

It has me wondering if most people do not like using an apron when detailing? Was there something about "the shoulder holder" that was not liked? The microfiber cloth and sholder holder piece for the chord plus front pockets seem like great ideas for this usage.

Anyone else feel free to reply your thoughts on apron usage(yea, nea, features, another better apron, etc)

Thanks again!:)

Thank you for the link to Ohio Auto Supply. I did check with them and even though they still show this apron on their web site it is no longer available from their supplier. Just thought I would post this so others would know. Thanks again.

Others thoughts on apron useage are still welcome!:)

Please DON'T unless you do it professionally in a dedicated shop. And if you "MEN" still think you need an Apron, be sure to get one that you can take from cooking, to vacuuming, to washing dishes right to Auto Detailing~

Sarcasm?

Sorry to hear this! :(

I was hoping that you could purchase this item ( and maybe a few other supplies) from an Ohio establishment....We, in Ohio, need all the financial help we can get right now. :D
