Guys I just applied klasse sealant to my car but some friends that don't know a thing about detailing are saying: you see you're abrading too much your car paint cleaning it, it's not very red anymore....
This car comes from factory with a deep red color which fades with time and I think they must apply something on the paint of new cars... BTW it's a clear coat paint.

So I was thinking.... what should I use to top klasse sealant to get that red deeper ?
Although I do like the pinkish look klasse alone gave to the car.... but it would be nice to show a lot of my friends that I'm not messing my car wish polishing + waxing.... or maybe I am ? LoL.....

http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/40901-nuba-glow.html
On this topic the guys were suggesting: Souveran, Collinite #915 and Meg's Gold Class Plus (liquid or paste ?)

Of course that I'm in for Meg's and Col's #915 considering cost......
I really don't care applying wax every month... I enjoy it a lot...

What can you guys tell me about it ?

AFTER:
After a lot of waxing... washing.... polishing with Meg's Ultimate Polish along this year and a half.... and from last weekend Polishing with M205 + Klasse as LSP.

I would find something with the most nuba content you can. I would go for Souveran, some of the Dodo products (some are made for red cars!), or Meguiar's gold class. I've used Meg's Gold liquid before and it looks decent just doesn't last long at all

I'm leaning toward Megs GC+ because of price, but it would be good to put a topper that would last at least 7-8 weeks.

Were you talking about this dodo wax ?:
Dodo Juice Orange Crush Soft Wax, carnauba car wax, dodojuice waxes, wax for warm colors, wax for red cars, orange car wax (http://www.autogeek.net/orange-soft-carnauba-wax.html)

Do you know how long does it lasts ?

Just about any Carnauba wax will add gloss and depth to your finish giving it that glow you're looking for.

Hi Bob... my car is already with a layer of klasse high gloss sealant I applied last sunday.... but I want something to top it that adds contrast to the red making it "more" red...

to top Klasse properly, u need a pure wax
Gold class is good when used alone but it has mild cleaning
try Meguiar's m26 wax or Poorboys RED
the poorboy is soft wax thats so easy to remove and looks wet!
the strawberry scent of PB is amazing too

Sounds like your looking for Souveran wax, but it is quite expensive. If you want something cheap but for a great value, I would get some 845.

I didn't knew GC+ had cleaners... thanks for the head up... :dblthumb2:
I liked the red option: Poorboys World Natty’s Paste Wax Red, Natty's Red Wax, Poorboy's carnauba wax, red car wax (http://www.autogeek.net/poorboys-nattys-red-wax.html)

Now that's some nice look!

Well... I have the #885 but don't think it pop's red out.... it does have an amazing shine... but really don't bring the red color out....

So I thought about #845 and #915... but I'm worried to buy it and to achieve the same look #885 gives... which is great but not what I'm looking for....

I really could buy souveran (and I'll someday), but I'd rather try something close to it that's cheaper for now...

I am going to go against the grain here.... I suggest layering another 2 layers of KSG and see what you get. I have found the depth and shine only increases the more layers you put on. I have found 3 to be the golden number.

I could do that next weekend... :dblthumb2: :dblthumb2:
But do you think it will enhance the paint's contrast ?

IME - 1 coat of KSG looks ok. 2 coats looks better.. 3 Coats looks great...

And the protection that it gives is nearly bullet proof.

some other excellent wax i can recommend for deep look:
3M Show car paste, 39526, "a classy look" quoted from Autopia review
Chemical Guys 50/50 in metal can, looks really like Souveran.
Autoglym HD, excellent sheeting

but, for less than 20 dollars, Poorboys is hard to beat.

*there are a lot of other excellent wax out there, but either some have already been mentioned, or they are more for some other uses like metal flakes pop.

I might receive some flack for this, but I find that 845 adds a brighter look rather than a carnauba glow (your car has almost exactly the same color as mine). Supposedly, 915 has a deeper look due to the higher carnauba percentage; I've seen it look really good on a red Mazda 2 (again similar bright red color) that a member on our local forum owns.

I've read (not personally tried it) that DJ Purple Haze (Pro) has a look that's similar to Souveran; you can get 30 ml panel pot of it, so you don't have to buy a full jar to try it out.

Edit: Oh wow, I just checked the price of the panel pot, didn't realize it was that expensive (for 30 ml of wax); got mine from the UK, where it's somewhat cheaper. At the price, you might as well try the Gold Class that others have suggested.
