This Thursday starting at 5:00pm we'll have either a 1990 Ferrari Testarossa or some classic Detroit Iron, just depends on if a special guest can make it or not and I'm waiting for a phone call on that...

Working on the car for tomorrow night, it's possible we're going to have a special guest with us but I don't want to say till I find out for sure.

I have a 1990 Ferrari Testarossa that needs to be de-swirled but my guest has a passion for classic Detroit Iron so if he's able to be here I might bring down a 1957 Chevy, a 1957 T-bird...

As soon as I find out I'll update this thread...

I also have two new swirl girls, one for Thursday and one for Saturday...

Great news!

Just got off the phone with PJ from Dodo Juice and he's going to be here tomorrow night to help us with our "Autogeek's Car of the Week".

I'm confused. What is happening tonight and what project was moved to the 17th?

The black Chevy SSR has been moved to the 17th...

In one hour I'm going to go pick up tonight's project car and I pretty sure I'm going to go with a 1957 Chevy or a blue, 1969 Mustang Fastback.

Both have swirls in the paint and both are cool...

The sun is shining very brightly today so I plan on getting good swirls shots like I did with the 1954 Ford F-100 project if for no other reason to document that while these are "cool" cars with what the average person thinks is a nice finish, in my eyes they're swirled out messes...

Someone saw this shot of the truck before we worked on it

And then asked,

"how can you improve that?"

Here's what it really looked like...
