Ok, those of you who have polished, glazed and waxed your precious beauties to perfection...

What do you do when you get the bird who thinks he's pooping over water because of the reflection on your car, or the errant bug that needed his flying license yanked before meeting with his untimely demise?

What's your weapon and method of choice for dealing with these scenarios.

Looking into the future here, because soon, I will have polished, sealed and waxed and know...
it's a matter of time before birds and bugs do their thing.

Honestly, the BEST and SAFEST thing is to rewash. If you can't, a product like DP 4 in 1 or Poorboys S & W would be good, but be VERY careful. Also, remove ASAP to prevent etching.

Shoot the damn bird! lol Nah, just make sure to take it out ASAP so the acid on the dookie does not etch your finish. I use QD and a cheap MF to get it out. It has worked for me...

DP 4-in-1 (qd mix) or DG fast clean and shine #921 works well or just rewash. Mike...

I carry a small spray with qd'er and a soft microfiber towel in trunk. Spritz, allow to sit and penetrate, remove. No rewiping the area !!

I double that. MFs and QD is a must.

Likewise.

And even if I do get a tiny bit of marring from removing it, I much prefer that over letting the bird crap sit there on the paint risking etching. It's easy enough to do a quick spot-polish of some slight marring.
