1998 E38 Micro Marring

Hi All,

Just bought an E38 and was polishing it out. It looks like it has never been polished at all. At the end it looked relatively good, however i did have some micro marring. I am using a G110V2. I will go over what i did, i think i may need a 3rd step.

105 on LC Cyan Pad
205 of LC Tangerine Pad

Im guessing i need a 3rd step to get rid of the micro marring.

PO106FF/PO85R on a Crimson/Black LC Pad?

Any help would be appreciated.

85 rd with a black pad should finish it out.

Are you backing off the pressure with 205 on the last pass? Also what size pad and are you cleaning the pad regularly?

Alright just seeing if it was the right next step.

I started with medium pressure on the 205 at about 4.5 speed. Then back ed off to just the weight of the unit. Im using 5.5 inch pads. I was doing a 2x2 test section, so i didnt clean the pads.
