Their names are M105 and M205. M105 I can't sat I really liked. Very though to work with and obviously dusts a lot. Had a lot a trouble with build up on edges and splatter on windows was very hard to remove. I mat try the baby oil I've heard about.

M205 was awesome! Cut some swirls out and I think the product is a very easy product to use. I really liked it a lot.

Also I used a red sure buff pad. What pad would deliver more cut than the red pad I used today? Also I did everything with a rotary.

Once you get the feel and learn how to use 105 properly, you will love it. Cuts very good and super fast.

Don't give up on M105 yet, practice more. And skip out on the baby oil "trick", it's a band aid fix for those who don't know how to use the product properly. Red Surbuf pad? Hmm, don't think so. If you have a red Surbuf pad then you either have single stage paint or polished through the clear.

+1, when I first got 105...a long long time ago, I hated it, but after using if for awhile and getting used to it, it's my go to compound.

So what do I need to do to ease the process? I was using a shot of water when it dried up...it dries in one pass.

If you are using a rotary, wet the pad then spin it dry. 3 pea size drops is all you need. There shouldn't be much is any residue to wipe off. I find most people use too much product. It is kind of a natural habit to add more if it is drying on you but indeed you need to lessen the amount. If you do a search, Richy did a nice video on how to use 105 .

Think D300/301 are more "perky/pep" and go with the flow. Would love to meet the smooth OPT HSC/HSP twins also.

Your barely trying out 105???? And you used it with the maroon Megs pad... Ouch! Thats way aggressive man
And I guess this goes hand in hand with your other post about some marring and holograms with the rotary ... Do you do this for a living or part time?

Wow....if you read the post you would see that there were no holograms and I used the maroon pad after I tried my yellow kompressor pad which didn't get all the scratches out.

Gonna have to agree...I've never had the desire to add oil to 105. I just use it till it breaks down. It's strange, it seems to me like once 105 is worked long enough...it takes the appearance and feel of 205. And 205 is easy to wipe clean. I find 105 to be the same way.

If you're getting splatter...then you're most likely either not picking up a bead correctly (rotary), using too much product, or you're lifting the pad before the product has been worked. I know when I use 105, it's a pretty clean process.

What were you using with the 105?

Have you tried Optimums optimal compoud spray and optimumspray polishes? They don't dust and if you use a wool pad very good cutting. Usually use a orange pad and the spray compound when I need to do some correction. Don't like all that dusting. But those are very good products I've. Used them myself. But also got very good results with the 2 optimum twins too.
