Driwash

My sisters family just bought a 2012 Camaro R/S. I told her to not let the dearler do a detail job to it, and that once she had the strips put on it I would show her how to detail it.
This morning she brought it over for the wash and detail. We foamed it first and let it sit for a few min. Then used M/F mit to agatate the surface, and showed her how to rinse the mitt in bucket with a grit guard. Also showed how to dry the surface using a yard/leaf blower to dry the car off. We did the baggie test on the paint, it needed to be clayed.
We used the Ultima Elastrofoam Paint cleaning System for the claying process. The Elastofoam works so fast and easy. I like it better than the clay bar.
Washed it again and dried it again, she got lots of practice learning the wash and leaf blower technique.
We used Wolfgang Fuzion Estate wax for the Last Step. Applied the wax by hand and machine buffed it off with the Porter Cable 7424 XP. After a quick lessen she was polishing and buffing the surface with the PC DA. She did a great job.
Here are some pictures of the Red Camaro, from washing to finish.
Let me know what you think and I will pass it on to her. She is joining Autogeek and will be on here soon.
