This will be my first detailing project...and it needs it. Badly.

I bought this truck in August of this year, it's a 1999 F250 Powerstroke. It spent most of its life on a farm, windows down, dirt roads. When I picked it up, it was COVERED in a layer of dirt and after it's first bath is when I noticed how much help it really needed.

I've got the equipment and product to do a full detail on it, now I just need the time and a garage big enough...

Swirls...everywhere.

Hard water etching and bird poop etching...

And a couple of areas to touch up with paint.

I wish you luck, and look forward to after pics. So what products did you pick up for this project?

Wow, that is one hell of a first detail...and yeah, that looks like a lot of work, but it will be very rewarding to get the paint back into decent shape.

I bought the PC 7424XP Megs kit and the PB Ultimate Sample kit. It's definitely a ton of real estate too. The paint didn't look near this bad when I bought it... but then again it was covered in dirt. I'm looking forward to it though!

Just take it one panel at a time. You'll be very happy with the results.

I plan on taking my time with it and I'll try to get some better pictures of everything, when I start on it. Hopefully that will be Saturday.
