The threads about work platforms focus mainly on the 20" tall Werner platform at Lowe's or Home Depot. I need one that's at least 3 feet tall with folding legs. Any leads? Thanks.

You might consider a Little Giant ladder that breaks down into two sections and a walk platform. My LG ladder is the sturdiest unit I have ever owned.

See if your local Home Depot has this item:

Louisville Ladder Model # L-3041-03

Or... perhaps shopping for this item online for price comparison sake.

I have a stage that is 20 inches high but the legs fold down to get you up 3 feet high. i think i bought it at home depot. When i get a chance ill take some pictures of it and let you know the manufacturer of it. I think this might be what you might be interested in...It is great because it is a 2 in 1 type stage that is awesome for polishing all types of vehicles...

You can sit on my shoulders.

This doesn't answer your question but until you find one I have spanned two folding ladders with a scaffolding board. Works good.

I have this and love it.

Portable Detailing Platform & Workbench - Griot's Garage (http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/in+your+garage/garage+accessories/portable+detailing+platform+workbench.do)

Kinda heavy and expensive. The heavy translates into stable and sturdy.

That sounds like it would work David, thanks. I thought of that too Jimmie but I only have 1 ladder. Kevin, if I did more detailing that's the one I would get. Thanks for your replies everyone.
