I've never used "wax eraser", I have a bottle of "wax blaster" which has been handy at removing wax among other things.
I use a low solution of dishwasher soap. Just make sure you've got the hose nearby so it doesn't ruin the CC.

try a little DAWN in the shampoo when washing, many use this trick.
How about tide color safe? The blue stuff non-bleach

peanut butter works .... and I too have seen the oils in Souveran remove older wax residue.

Peanut butter? Or do you mean the oil content of peanut oil?

Straight simple APC. Diluted dish detergents doesn't have the punch on tougher waxes like Collinite.
Why not just clay the car..?
