So the choice was golf today or OC my buddies jeep.
Guess the title kinda ruined the suspense if there ever was any
asked him to take it to the touchless first cause he just got back from a 12 hour roadtrip yesterday. Still had to soak some bug remnants with OPC at full strength, then iron x'ed, clayed, and spot compounded a few spots with optimum compound II followed by 106FA over the entire car.
Wiped down with GG pre wax cleaner then did the oc. Not sure how much I started with but included a pic of the remainder so maybe someone can tell me. Did not do the rims (one is getting refinished) or the glass.
I think the idea Anthony had of wrapping the supplied applicator with latex was inspired and probably helped me cut down on how much I used. Didn't have any shop towels so I used a surgical face mask that I cut the ends off of.
Overall, it was pretty easy to see high spots on black and knock them down with the applicator, didn't need to use the mf much at all.
