View Full Version : Tyromania users, how are you applying it?

So I got my Tyromania on Thursday and just tried it out this afternoon. How are you guys applying it? Just using the built in applicator? Do you scoop some out with it and smear it around or what? I was just lightly rubbing it on the surface and scraping the excess off on the jar before trying to apply. I noticed it was quite messy (had to wipe smears off the wheels after) and once my hand heated it up the applicator started dripping. Just looking for some tips for next time and how to know I'm getting enough on the tire.

Just a bump, I know there's a couple forum users out there that use this stuff, but don't remember if they visit on weekends or not.

I use the supplied applicator - move it side to side to get the stuff on and start on the tire working it in. If I see streaks - I just take the applicator to work it in again...

Why does Def Leppards Pryomania come to mind each time I see this product mentioned ??

Thanks, I'm thinking I did not get enough on the first car I used it on. I think I was using mostly whatever was dripping out of the applicator. I squeezed out the applicator into the jar earlier and let it sit in the sun to melt back in then stuffed it in the fridge for a bit to harden back up. About to go use it again on my car this time. I think I was not really using much/any last night or at least not properly.
