Opti Coating chrome wheels

Pretty good idea? either on brand new or freshly polished wheels to prevent pitting and corrosion?
these north eastern winters really beat wheels up.
It could be a good money maker and could save the time of having to take chrome wheels off for winter.
Hence the reason i choose alloy wheels :)

I'd imagine so. I want to find someone i know with a good set of chrome wheels that I can clean polish and opti coat. Then see how it holds up after the winter and also see how much easier it is to clean them with opti coat on.
