So a month ago I got a PM from another forum about him wanting his white TL detailed. And he mention to be his car was in great shape but that that swirls were really annoying.

Products used
Sonax wheel cleaner
Foam Canon
Meg Hyper Wash
OPC
Kracher power washer X Series
Two buckets with Grit Guards
Duragloss soap
Meguair's MF mitts
Leaf blower
DP clay bar
Meguair's detail spray
Painter tape
Griot's DA polisher
Meguair's M105
Varieties of LC 5.5 inch pads
Surbuf 5.5 inch pads
IPA
Varieties MFs
Collinite 845

All shots were taking with T2i with 15-85mm.

I started by spraying the wheels down with Sonax and used various brushes. Then power washed everything off.

Then I foamed the car down with Hyper wash with OPC.

Clayed the car with DP clay, didn't get to get any pics of it though.

Then started taping trims and dedicated areas.

Here are some before and after shots. The whole car had light swirls and were all taking care for with M105 and orange LC flats.

Nice work, Slick. Gee, that cul-de-sac looks like you could almost fit enough cars for a local meet...

Thanks! That was the customer drive way. Let make this meet happen! :xyxthumbs:

Thanks! White cars are great because they hide swirls so well. When he brought it to my house I couldn't believe the car was almost 8 years old.

Very nice results!

I've had good results going right to 845 after 105 as well. I've since gone to D300/MF with even better results in addition to easier wipeoff and no dust. The MF/D300 does an incredible job on those black pillars as well.

Nice work! :dblthumb2:

Thanks! I wanted to order the MF system but I have so much product that I need to use up before buying more stuff.

What kind of ridiculous rationale is that?!? Don't you want your garage overflowing and be broke like the rest of us?
