I just recieved a text message saying I have recieved a $50 gift voucher from Target. They left a phone # for me to call (1.866.938.9161) or to text "TXT STOP TO STOP".

What does this mean?

I always do a google search on phone numbers I don't recognize to see if they are a scam or whatever I can find out. this number you posted is a scam and when you call back and press 1 to find out about how to get the voucher, you get charged $9.99 on your phone.
