So I just changed my front and rear bumpers with chrome ones today. The both have gray plastic on them. I would like to dye them black to match the black grill. Is there a way to do this?

Here's a pic.

Krylon it and be done with it. I've never seen a vinyl dye that will hold up for for very long. just mask every thing off, scuff with scotchbrite pad, prime and paint. cover with clear if desired.

I would agree with "T.O.C". Krylon and Duplicolor make trim specific paint that would work great for this.

I thought about that but its the front bumper and its gonna see a lot of bugs and rocks.

clear coat it and take care of it like you would if it came from the factory that way. hell it will probably hold up better than a factory paint job. and will definitely look and last longer than a dye job.

Honestly, that's what I used for the grill.

SEM has some bumper coatings that would probably work.
