What's the average number of MF towels one would use on a complete paint correction start to finish on say a midsize car?

For me 12 to 14. 8 General purpose for removal and 4+ plush for final wipedown or pass.

About a dozen and that's not even for a full correction (which I seldom do anymore).

1 - tires
1 - wheels
2 - WW for drying
4 - if doing a waterless wash
1 - door jams, trunk, hood areas.
1 - quick detailer type product
1 - interior
2 - glass (regular for cleaning and WW for final wipedown)
3 - for each stage of removing polish, paint cleansing,....
1 - LSP (BFWD)
1 - quick wipedown of engine compartment

I wash the tire, wheel, engine compartment together
I wash anything that touches the paint or glass together
I wash the interior, door jams together
