I ordered all 4 of these wool pads to try and do a paint correction from cut to finish using wool pads only on a rotary. Anyone here try this before? Had any success at it?

I can't at my current skill level. When you say "finish successfully" you mean hologram free right?

Yeah that's what I am thinking. Not sure if it's possible but I am going to give it a whirl when these (and my 2 tubes of OptiCoat 2.0):) get here.

Have you tried these wool finishing pads?

I personally hate working with wool pads other than compound anyways. Even if it's possible...I wouldn't be interested in even trying. I am interested to see the outcome though! Good luck man!

I'm borderline idiot with some of the things I want to try. I have no real reason to try this other than just to see if I can do it. Maybe I am getting bored or something.

Yeah it has to be curiosity because I stay too busy to get bored. My mother says "Damn boy, you don't let any grass grow under your feet do you..??..?"

I haven't use those Edge pads but I used PFW with 105 on white and was able to go straight to LSP. Looks like you're the guinea pig. :D

You can finish with edge wool blend pads with no problem. I use the green light cutting for AIO details frequently. Prime the pad well and keep enough downward pressure to prevent sling and it's all good. They lint a little at first so wash and spur them. I have all the wool edge pads and all the foam edge pads. It's just about all I use.
