This was another car in my customers collection, when I first saw the car I was like that a weird looking black, I cant say I like that but When I brought this car outside the colour is something else. I enjoyed working on this car although there was it fair share of defects.

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Ko4rSJXyAdo/Tk3ZKPYWpbI/AAAAAAAABaU/BLCYvoTM3nU/s640/DSCN0903.JPG

There was its fair share of defects in the paint, this would get a full correction and interior. Start with the wheels, i used Sonax for the wheels, great wheel cleaner

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SgBcamhnxpU/Tk3ZQ-NqTOI/AAAAAAAABbA/IIpAHKhVJPo/s640/DSCN0913.JPG

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-yMJL0b7DkZU/Tk3ZSna4OeI/AAAAAAAABbI/qSuJP60eR44/s640/DSCN0915.JPG

Various brushes were used to agitate the wheels

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-RKUdJuJwxE4/Tk3ZTPDifQI/AAAAAAAABbM/eEUfNI_-Kps/s640/DSCN0916.JPG

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-belajmfilpQ/Tk3ZT1wCTRI/AAAAAAAABbQ/Gfo8Omi6-P4/s640/DSCN0917.JPG

This is how they should look

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_LQrZFkXQoE/Tk3ZV3sGEhI/AAAAAAAABbg/URdtSZxpahQ/s640/DSCN0920.JPG

I then gave the car a pre-rinse and then sprayed the car with P21s Auto Wash

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-BHNDqoQW36M/Tk3ZXRKugnI/AAAAAAAABbo/xwDKr8xkuLs/s640/DSCN0922.JPG

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cqRMT26iRTc/Tk3ZWh0nJoI/AAAAAAAABbk/86u3sjkgXvU/s640/DSCN0921.JPG

I let the Auto Wash dwell for a few minutes before i foamed the car down with Dawn and GG Citrus Wash

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-YSE6l8SVTYg/Tk3ZZNdXT8I/AAAAAAAABb0/RTFY3Khub6M/s640/DSCN0924.JPG

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-r1Izl8NQ_y0/Tk3ZZn7Vj1I/AAAAAAAABb4/V1UFWeeQHts/s640/DSCN0925.JPG

Again that was left to dwell for several mintues and i used a swissvax brush to agitate trim pieces then washed with 2 bucket method

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-uxrb0Ja2DD0/Tk3Zad0vz8I/AAAAAAAABb8/qXoZ8WuWTos/s640/DSCN0926.JPG

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-2wjgXIiBVfs/Tk3ZbMGAQqI/AAAAAAAABcA/jZtpgJks_U8/s640/DSCN0927.JPG

Then rinsed off before claying

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-F0YlN-tPdcw/Tk3Zb-lgcDI/AAAAAAAABcI/zr2gx8tI56A/s640/DSCN0928.JPG

The car was brought in and clayed with DI fine clay and DoDo Juice Born Slippy. I then blew the excess water off and dried the car

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fkMpysWH6EU/Tk3ZgDT1TSI/AAAAAAAABcc/ZJlLqkL4F-k/s640/DSCN0933.JPG

Onto the correction, I used several different combos on this car and tools, I used my flex and makita for this job

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-T2RCt_2Gg70/Tk3ZgiiOiFI/AAAAAAAABcg/hajXO2Qdt8w/s640/DSCN0934.JPG

After couple passes with MF system, I was looking for more correction

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mQQhla3T09I/Tk3ZhjkHflI/AAAAAAAABck/DFBgwbAnRAk/s640/DSCN0935.JPG

I tried out the Tang pad/D300

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Tc-dMA4MixY/Tk3ZmB3vH2I/AAAAAAAABdA/wnTMO6OuGrg/s640/DSCN0944.JPG

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-UjsqkzMWW8w/Tk3ZmgJX3LI/AAAAAAAABdE/pqY23VajipY/s640/DSCN0945.JPG

50/50 trunk, I was achieving what i was looking for

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-I12KxspYzIg/Tk3Zp-Z-tWI/AAAAAAAABdc/QNUyyzYgpdk/s640/DSCN0950.JPG

Still hazy but defects were removed

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dr7E1LlbxLg/Tk3ZrPbj_uI/AAAAAAAABdg/97gK7sT8y98/s640/DSCN0951.JPG

After the compounding was done i went back over the car with Tang M205

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-2I34M9VgQ6k/Tk3ZsEF4E4I/AAAAAAAABdk/cuUj1PiV94A/s640/DSCN0952.JPG

I dressed the tires with Opti Bond and then moved onto the interior

First off, amazing job once again...

but man where are you finding these cars/customers?

First a Ferrari, then a Porsche, then now a R8?! Im sure you are making quite a bit of cheddar on these high end toys...

Nice R8 but I don't like that tan paint, I don't even know what that part of the car is called
