My daughter and I sealed her car with Meguair's M21 about 4 hours ago.

She parked it under a carport and tonight we got the 2nd rain storm we have had all summer, here in Texas. It stormed HARD!!!

The rear hatch of her Dodge Nitro got wet. One side got a light mist. The water is beading.

The car stays dry under that carport during a normal rain storm. Murphy's law got us!!!

Should we reseal the whole thing, just the rear, or leave it alone till the next time we detail it?

After 4 hours you should be fine. I always do two coats 24 hours apart for durability and in case anything got missed on the first coat.
You can add an additional coat at anytime after the first 12-24 hours.

Isn't M21 a cleaner sealant sort of ? If its like Tech wax 2.0, I do believe that the product has mild cleaners in it and will strip whats underneath.

Neither M21 or NXT 2.0 have cleaners in them at all. They are finishing sealants.

But you should be good :xyxthumbs:

I think Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and Rejex are the only ones really sensitive within the first 12 hours.

Exactly. There are no cleaners in M21.
