I have a customer that has flat black racing wheels. There is some oxidation on them. I tried trt sc3000 and yellow 3 inch pad. It didn,t even do anything.

Trt sc3000 = a medium clear coat cleaner

Well, my first thought is that you shouldn't polish anything that has a matte finish. Luckily it didn't do anything...cause if it did, you would probably have quite an issue making the rims look uniform again.

When I do anything matte...I don't do much to it. I just clean it up, and wipe it down. Use a paint safe wheel cleaner like Sonax. Just clean thoroughly...that's all that needs to be done. If need be, use a spray wax, quick detailer, or something of the sort for a wipe down.

This is assuming the paint is supposed to be a flat black, and it's not an oxidized single stage gloss black. That would be a different story.
