I already had two coats of BFWD on my green 1998 Ford Explorer. I didn't think it could look better. This morning, before work, I put a coat of Collinite 845 on it for some added durability. The Collinite added that extra slickness/depth that only a wax can. People talk about Collinite 845 mostly in terms of durability. On top of BFWD this stuff really shines. This is a killer combination.:dblthumb2:

Good to hear. I've got my new bottle of 845 waiting for me at home. I just need another nice weekend to prep the Charger before getting it on.

Scott,

That Ford Explorer looks gorgeous!

BlackFire Sealant is a great product and adding Collinite 845 is sort of like icing on the cake....:props:

Nice! Looks great and I was always wondering how BFWD topped with 845 would fare. Can't wait to try it out now!

Scott, Do you think the 845 looks better than the BFMS on top of the WD?

All the explorers of that generation around here are trashed. And the ones in that color have almost no gloss. I didnt even know that color could look like yours. Amazing!

Looks like we have a doctor in the house, not even just a car enthusiast!

Yea, that Explorer looks like it just rolled out of the dealership today, not 12 years ago. Great job!

Does the Collinite 845 leave any dust residue? I've been thinking about trying it.
