Hi, Just a car and bike owner that tries to keep them clean and looking good. I have well water with a whole house softener but my water is still pretty hard and iron rich I think. It leaves behind a film that is easy to see when it dries on the windows and black paint. I have looked but didn't find anything so I was hoping the experts or even the semi-pros might know something, or have some advice that could help me out. Is there a product that you would add to a bucket of rinse water or foam gun that would clarify the water? My thinking is I could use this 'more clean' water with a sponge or gun to do a final rinse to get rid of the well water residue. I normally use a leaf blower to help dry and then go over with mft. But the water spots are killing me. I know there are in-line filters but I was wondering if there is any other way? Jet-Dry for cars? Thanks, Kip in NJ.
