Question for all you experienced detailers. Natty's advertises that a lot of their products can be used in the sun. Have any of you applied Natty's paste wax or other products in direct sunlight? If you did, how were the results?

Poorboy's products are one of the few companies that actually design their products to work okay in the sun. I'm not going to say that they work just as good in the sun as they do in the shade, but they DO work better in the sun than a lot of other products on the market.

I do not have experience with Natty's yet, but I have applied PB Pro Polish and EX sealant w/Carnauba under the hot sun and they worked VERY well.
FYI Pinnacle XMT products advertise to also work well on the sun...have not tried them yet.

Excellent! I didn't know that about the Pinnacle XMT products. Thanks JRivers.

I have not applied PN Natty's in the sun but have applied on my car after it sat in the sun for a couple of hours due to being paged from work. No issues.

I have applied PB S&W and S&G QD's directly in the sun no streaking no issues.

One thing I enjoy about Autogeek is the amount of information about a product contained within that page. I looked up one of Natty's waxes and this is what they had to say.

"Poorboy's Natty’s Red Wax is not the chalky carnauba paste wax of 20 years ago. It wipes on in a thin, buttery coat. Apply Natty’s Red in the sun or shade. The results always exceed your expectations."

To get the scoop on a particular product simply look it up and most of the information is readily available...

I've used Natty's blue paste and liquid in the sun and it is sooo easy! Check out one of the videos in this review that shows you how it's even easier in the sun! I can't remember how hot that panel was but it had to be between 130 and 160 degrees I bet.

Note: I try to make it obvious in the video but there is barely any pressure being applied to that towel.

bobble, thanks that's good to know it worked as advertised.

BobbyG - yes, I read about the product, but I wanted to see what the feedback from the community was, i.e. does it work as advertised? And it sounds like it does. Thanks!

Thanks for the vids CEE DOG- I can see it's easier to remove in the sun. In the shade video it looks like it takes 1.5-2 swipes with the MF to get all the wax off, whereas it quickly came off with one swipe in the sun video.

Thanks again everybody for your feedback - you all rock! This is such a supportive community. :dblthumb2: :applause: :thankyousign:
