It's safe to say so :(. If you live in the cold, I would HIGHLY recommend bringing in all waxes; liquid and paste.

I believe I read a while back, that freezing of the wax ruins it in some form or something.

I sure hope you havent thrown it away yet. It can be saved. (trust me i have alot of provducts freeze and very few have any ill effects). I would let it thaw and give it a good shaking (the wax will seperate like salade dressing). Just give it a good shanking to make sure it all mixed up and you will have no problems... i run into this problem alot. So dont worry

I live in FL, and don't ever encounter a problem like this, but I have read a few threads, and frozen wax is a no-no.

Other products, could be frozen, and left to thaw, but they don't have the ingredients wax does.

I will try and find the thread that I was reading from....

you should be ok...just when it warms up shake it up good..in case they separated some...the worse products to freeze are polishes and LSP sealants...some times they separate and will not re mix...they curdle and never re mix....I left a bottle of Mothers Top Coat in the garage last winter and it froze..come spring I seen it..opened it..was like cottage cheese....was toast..junk...

but shake the bottle up as soon as it warms up..should be fine....

Okay. I confess that I wanted to know the answer to this question as well so I called Meguiar's for you. :p I spoke with Tim and he told me that he strongly recommends that you contact the company you bought it from because there is a risk of it "going bad" as he put it. He said it's not good that any of their products freeze.

FloridaNative your quite the gall aren't you, very nice of you to make the call. I too worry about products freezing, so far everything I have ordered has arrived here extremely cold not frozen though. I was told by a pro autobody dealership that if you recieve anything frozen (specially compund products) to contact the place you got it from because most of the times they should not be freezing and if they do the chemical blend is now lost. Well at least that is all I remember.

All I remember frozen products is not a good thing.

Alot of car care products state..do not let freeze or keep above a certain temp..reason being they can change chemically

There was a post on Detail City on this also..and Steve chimed in ..but i can not get the City to load today..I was going to copy what was said...

also a good practice...during the winter when your products are idle from not being used...pay them a visit and give them a shake up..to keep them in a mixed form...never hurts to do so...

Can be seen here: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/detailing-forum/3977-ups-came-today-but-one-item-frozen.html

If it were me, I'd toss it, and pick up someting else. Pinnacle CM is BOGOF!!! I got myself two.. That's like saving $20 or more!

Hope this helps...

thanks guys . pro said it should be fine .i said to them that it says on the bottle keep from freezing . and they said that it says that manly so if it freezes really bad it could exspand the bottle and leak that s all. .its more for 5 gal containers not to freez because they really expand and could pop! so hopefully we should be ok.
