Hello Mike I just got a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has bad oxidation on the headlights I got a Turtlewax headlight kit which required sanding it got some of it off but not all of it. I watched a youtube video and the person used a more coarsed sand paper so I used 600 grit 1000 grit and last a 2500grit it worked next I am used meguiarsn Plastx plastic cleaner and polish. so far its ok but i would love to get it a little more clearer. Do you have any more Ideas or suggestions to this project.

Thanks
Cedric

If you don't own a dual action polisher, Meguiar's Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit works awesome, and can probably be found at your local Wal-Mart or auto parts store. Autogeek carries it as well. It costs around $30.

I used Megs Heavy duty kit on mine. Worked very well, but i did add additional sanding with lower grit wetsanding like the OP mentioned on top of what was included in the kit.

I used the Megs kit. I had to add M105 to get the heavy clouding.
