Can I use KAIO before UTTG on black plastic trim?

Or will the KAIO leave something behind that the UTTG won't get off? I have some white residue on my black trim that I need to clean off b4 applying UTTG.

try scrubbing with some 4:1 APC and a toothbrush instead.

Lot's of stuff to get dried wax off black trim but KAIO is not one of them
