This morning I washed and corrected the paint on the wifes Liberty. She sure is impressed at how it came out.

This is what I used. (pictures of car below)

OTC wash and H. depot foam gun for power washer.
M 105 with orange 5.5 pad and M205 with white 5.5 pad
PC 7424 xp
MIcro buffing pad on DA

Tires - OTC wash and microfiber towel

Here are pictures of the reflection from the hood and doors.

And just as I finished I had a visitor..."CEE DOG" WoW, his car-- SKY is just sick looking with shine. He came by to check out a scratch on the hood of my Vette. He know his stuff, and it is great to meet members from the forum.

So, how did I so for a newbie?

Be honest, if it looks bad let me know, I have a lot to learn about this machine polishing..:buffing:

Looks good! How did the scratch on the Vette turn out?

I have to just keep at it with the m105 and m205. Just have to go slow and take my time so I don't cut to deep into the clear coat.

CEE DOG saw how long it was and he could not feel it, and said it should come out but go easy.

It is hard to see in sun light but in florescent light I can see it like a bug on the windshield.

Tom,

I think you did a spectacular job on your wife's Jeep. Candy apple red is a gorgeous color and when fully detailed as you did is truly a pleasure to behold...:props:

Gorgeous job Tom....:dblthumb2:

I'll let you guys in on a little secret. I just spoke with Tom on the phone and he is going to be using Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant along with a coat of Fuzion on his Corvette in the coming weeks. I told him if he doesn't do a Show N' Shine he wouldn't get a free sample with his next order! :bat:

...just kidding. :righton:
