This Honda S2K came into my shop for an exterior detail. After interviewing the client I found out that car had just been "detailed" by the local "Quickie Wash". But he wasn't satisfied with the results.

A quick walk around the vehicle revealed significant amounts of marring and swirling all around. It was pretty clear that the car had be been buffed improperly and I would need to be cautious during the next round of polishing.

Since the car is a daily driver and parked outside 24/7 the owner wasn't looking for 100% perfection rather moreso restoring the clarity and gloss to the paint and give it some good protection from the elements.

Here's my process:
Exterior Prep Wash - ONR
Claybar Detox - Hi Def Smooth Medium Clay
Paint Correction - Hi Def "Bling" Nano Polish (Flex 3401 w/Orange LCC Foam Pad)
Finish Polish - Hi Def "Bling" Nano Polish (via Flex 3401 w/White LCC Foam Pad)
LSP - Hi Def G-6 Nano Wax (Via Flex 3401 w/Red LCC Finishing Foam)
Wheels/Tires - Hi Def Total Clean/Hi Def Whip Juice

Total work time on was just over 6 hours. A few straight line stray scratches and some nasty road rash on the hood and front bumpers remained but overall the client was very pleased with the results. Thanks for viewing and I welcome any feedback.

Very nice job Hi Def...I hate seeing black (dark) paint swirled and marred as badly as that. I'm glad the owner of that car had the good sense to know when he got a bad detail job and brought it to you for correction.

P.S. Where can I buy some of that "Nano Bling"????:xyxthumbs:
