This client was a referral from another client of mine. The client wanted the exterior brought back to life and made as perfect as possible.

The paint wasn’t in horrible condition but it needed a little TLC to make the paint sparkle.

A little tip I picked up from others more experienced from me. Prop the trunk open so you can work on it easier.

The one 50/50 I have. This is only after the compounding, the haze clears up after the second step.

When the license plate is flush with the paint it can scratch. I noticed that there was an outline around the license plate of scratches so I wanted to take a measure to fix this problem for the future. I took foam dots that have adhesive on one side and stuck them on the back before I placed the plate back on.

I have an 03 Cobra also. Zinc yellow. And I am always "perturbed" by the amount of orange peel from the factory. But the paint measures so thin I am afraid to try any sanding to remove it.

It looks like the owner has taken very good care of his paint the last eight years.
But you brought it back to brand new, or even better. Very nice.
Did the wheels and tires need any care?

I own this car. I signed up at autogeek so I could voice my opinion of John at PAR detailing and his workmanship. John at PAR detailing was referred to me by a friend that is the most anal person that I know. This friend of mine has his car detail twice per year and has used several different company's. When John finished with his car and exceeded his expectations I knew my car would be safe in his care. John is a really good guy. He enjoys what he does and it shows through in his workmanship. His payoff is not just the money that his work brings in but seeing the end result of what he has accomplished. His gratification is seeing the smile on his customers face and the appreciation they have of the work that has gone into the vehicle. If you have a vehicle in the area take it to Par detailing. John will treat you right. I wanted to give credit where it was due. Thanks again John

I agree that the paint was pretty thin. It wasnt dagerously thin but not thick enough for me to want to hit it with heavy sandpaper. As for the wheels and tires I just washed them with soap and water. The tires were dressed with DP. And thank you!

nice!

Thanks
