Assuming that you have your paint protected according to your standard (sealant, wax, layering ect) what do you do after your maintence wash? Do you use a QD or something like a Optimum Spray wax? I also assume that no one in here just washes and dries their car.

thanks for the help

I usually use a spray wax or QD with booster while drying. Adds a nice pop and boost protection.

If I washed my truck right now I'd use my leaf blower to dry the finish. I always grab a well used guzzler and give the finish a close look getting anything I might have missed.

Optimum Spray Car Wax is an ideal companion after a wash and takes no more than 15 minutes to go over the whole vehicle adding to both the pop and durability...

I dry with waffle weave and while doing so I use optimum instant detailer and gloss enhancer, every time .

I'm the odd man out. I wash and dry with the green guzzler towel. Dry the rims with a

multi purpose mf and dress the tires. No QD but I also am guilty of waxing to frequently

soooo.... probably every two-three weeks

Wow...this is pretty interesting. I am pretty much with the wash and dry crew...wash then use the leaf blower. I go over the windows with a MF and dress the tires but only when its not expected to rain for a few days. If its gonna rain I'll leave the tires be.

that was for a normal soap wash , if I use a rinseless then I just wash and dry .I find the ingredients in the rinseless washes leave a good finish alone .

I am guilty of waxing too much as well. Sometimes every week  but this is how I relieve stress (good cardio too) and I like showing people how crazy I am.

On the other hand the main thing to do after a wash is enjoy your work with some cold ones!

I blow dry my vehicles. I always end up with a few water spots. So I go back over the car with a QD or a spray wax every 3rd wash or so.

I usually use FK425 after a wash. Adds slickness and shine. Love it.

Back when I had nuba's as the LSP I'd QD while drying then about every third wash use Liquid Spray Souveran.
Now I've got WG DGPS on my cars, and use WG Spritz Sealant to amp it up.
