The Geek hooked me up with some various products(THANK YOU!!):xyxthumbs: With all the posts about Collinite 845, I simply HAD to try some. I'm going to be giving it a try later today on my Civic as that little car is easy to do, and needs some durable protection for the coming "cold weather" months. You really have to do it in 3X3 sections? MF towels usually wipe everything off quite simply. It's no problem either way, plenty of time...just wondered about that.. It's ok to go straight over the meguiars that is there currently? I'm curious to see how long it lasts for :) Always cool to try a new product. There certainly are enough of them out there. That's what is great! we all like a little something different.

I'll follow up shortly.

LOL sorry, I had less than optimal conditions. The second after I started washing the car, it poured! ;) The gold class was working well. I'll try it another day.

I dodged the rain, wiped off the fender and the hood with QD spray. Took the 845 and had at it. It's definitely thick. Didn't have time to thin it. Was very streaky on the hood...I barely re-applied for the fender and that came out smoother. The water does sheet right off.It is raining again with some nasty thunder. LOL so we will see how it stays. :)
