what i have found to use on glass to clean inside out even with tinted windows is this mixture of using a spray bottle
mix 1/4 vinegar; 1/4 rubbing alcohol; then the rest with purified water
i have used this for over 2 yrs, and always leaves streak free!

I too find Klasse (AIO) to be great on windows.

Hi guys,

Can I ask if you use only the AIO, or the KSG as well?

Thanks

I really like this process -
Clay---Klasse AIO---DP glass cleaner in between applications, which I repeat once a month.

Pinnacle Souveran Paste or Sig Series for the paint, and use Clearkote Quikshine on your glass. It will bead when raining, and super clear with no streaking. WOW !!

Does AG have Clearkote Quikshine?? I couldn't find it.

Thanks for the great rundown on window cleaning. Always good to get new tips. I liked the remark about lint and I know the microfiber products do not leave a lint, but when the sun or bright light hits the windshield in a certain way, I can see the little bits or hairs that the microfiber towel left behind. I only use the Cobra line of microfiber towels. Am I doing something wrong or is this microfiber residue normal?

Surf City Clearly Better is the best glass cleaner I have used...PERIOD!

In the sun or in the shade you can say hello to crystal clear windows and bye bye to streaks.

I did a co workers car and he was leaving work and ran to his car because he thought someone smashed his window out...NOPE window was there just clean as HELL!!

After a SC cleaning I'll use some AW..water just rolls right off the glass and stays noticably cleaner.

If I want to get reall crazy I'll put some collinite (845 or 476) on the glass..

Just so you know what I am basing my opinion of SC glass cleaner off of as my baseline...Stoners was my go to...not any more!

Just a word of caution on using steel wool on glass. It works great on many problems but be SURE to use a pad no more aggressive than 0000 or in a severe case 000. Taking scratches out of glass is NOT a fun job! NEVER use "Brillo" pads or even plastic scrub pads other than white. Also be sure to never use the steel wool dry. I'm new to fine car detailing but an old veteran when it comes to glass.

Thanks to AG for this new and popular forum. Thanks also to all you detail veterans for sharing your expertise. I wish this invaluable tool was around years ago as it would have saved me a fortune in time and effort learning my craft.
