I just bought my new VW GTI and is BLACK! Yes i know, i'm crazy but black looks so ####### sexy (when is properly clean of course), What type of product you recommend to keep it clean as my daily driver (I always wash my cars every 2 weeks) and ALWAYS looks like a mirror. I don't really care about "protection" my main goal is keep it look like a mirror ALL THE TIME. I know is NOT a easy job and thats why i'm asking you guys, suggestion about product i need to used is MORE THAN WELCOME!!! Thanks in advance! :props:

His first "bath" with a clay bar and a quick detailer... Don't have the DEEP GLOSS that i looking for but looks ok.

That's a beautiful car you have there. I had an 06 United Gray and absolutely loved it. If you want it to look like a mirror your gonna need to wax or seal the paint. Trust me it will make the car washes that much easier. I'll let the experts chime in with suggestions for either for the black. Congrats on the new ride.:xyxthumbs:

Menzerna Power lock topped with collinite 845
If you want it to look wet all the time you will probably be better off applying a glaze. You will just need to do it more often.

Beautiful car. My car is also black and I like it looking slick and wet. Here are some suggestions for a last surface product to get it that way:
1. Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax
2. Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant with Polycharger.
3. Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray.
4. Fine Kare #425
If you want that black to keep its sexy look, I suggest you increase your washes to weekly and always keep a QD like the FK 425 in your trunk with a bag of MF towels. Anytime you get bird crap, or tree crap on the car, spray it and remove it.

Your GTI is sweet! :props:

By asking this group what to do you'll keep it looking that way. I see so many people that have black vehicles and within a couple of months they are covered with swirls, mars, etc. and look almost like they are gray.

OP: Truck... is spot on with his recommendations for a black car.

For my black Jetta, it's
1. Meg Ultimate Polish PC
2. Ultima Paint Guard Plus 2x
3. Detail Shoppe Wet Glaze by hand
4. Collinite 845 IW by hand

Follow up with DuraGloss Aqua Wax for after wash drying, at least weekly
QD and MF in trunk for bird bombs :-(
