I got some LC pads , and I have a soft wax I will be applying. I plan to use my DA and a foam pad. However , how will I clean it ? Doesnt wax repel water by nature ? I have some all purpose cleaner I use on my pads after a polish. But what about wax ?

I use my Grit Guard Universal Pad Washer. I usually spritz the pad with some APC and work it into the pad some then run it on the Pad Washer. I haven't had any problems cleaning them.

When you're done you can use any APC to clean off your pad. Either have a bucket with a APC solution premixed and or spray the pad itself and work the product out with your fingers and wash it out with a hose.
I usually have a bucket with a APC premix, soak the pads in there for a bit, pull them out and work the products out with my finger and spray them down with water. After that I try to get as much foam and crap out with my hands and then have them laying face down on a grit guard inside of a bucket to air dry them.

I spray my pads with a degreaser, let them sit then put them in a pail of Detailer’s Pro Series Polishing Pad Rejuvenator - DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator was created to provide detailers with a fast and effective way to clean pads without soapy residue or foamy degreasers. As a car shampoo, Dawn is forbidden. But to clean wax and sealants out of pads, it works great!! :D

Dawn is the most practical way for a guy that doesn't do enough correction business to warrant having a pad washer. I clean mine well in the sink and pitch them in the washing machine. I use a terry cloth to press as much water out as I can and let them air dry face DOWN on a wire rack.

I use dawn to clean them, then put them on my rotary and spin most of the water out of them
