Metro Vac Compact Problems

Hey all,


I have had the same issue with two metro vac and blo compacts and was curious if anybody else has been having the same issues. The clips that fasten the cover where the bag is doesn't hold the cover on tight enough. After a few operations the clips loosen up, and occasionally the cover calls off during operation. Anyone else have this issue? I just received my replacement and it seems the left clip is already somewhat loose.

I know if you use the vac n blo without the paper filter the end cap (just use the cloth bag) is loose fitting. I have not noticed it yet but had not had a chance to do a review of it either.

Yea, I use only the cloth bag, and it seems to be loose.

If I used the vac without the paper bag, I would just take a used paper one, removed the bag part and keeping the rim, and use it as a spacer to keep it tight.
