It's minor scatches compared to what it could have been. Just wanted your help to tell me what my options are in fixing this. One small scatch to the left of the muffler and then a chip fell off the bottom of the bumper. Please let me know what my options are.

Thanks,
Howard

If the paint is missing then you would have to get a touchup to repair it. Sorry you got hit. :(

Thanks.........I knew it's a long shot of me doing anything other than a little touchup but just wanted to make sure as I don't know what's out there to fix this other than the most obvious.

Totoland Mach posted a thread on how to fill and touch up paint that I found real helpful. Hopefully this will help you fix that cool looking blue paint. Mike...

I'm sorry you got hit to. That can always ruin your day. As Strokin04 said Toto has been trying a lot of touch up paint repairs lately. He can probably give you some good suggestions.

Thanks so much for the help. I already planned on getting some paint tomorrow during lunch. Will try something this weekend. Thanks again for the link.

I'm glad that I could help and real thankful for people like Totoland Mach that take the time to document and provide photographs on how to fix and correct paint blemishes. Mike...

Take your time with the touch up. This is definitely not a job you want to RUSH. Sorry about the hit. :(

I, too, am sorry to hear about the accident! I am very happy you were not hurt and that the damage was not worse, of course.
I can't add any more help than what you have gotten here already, but I feel for you. And I must second the statement that your car is a gorgeous shade of blue.
God bless,:)

I'm very sorry to hear that you got hit.
I personally would leave it as is for right now, 'till insurance company pays for it.

Thanks for the insight as I just want to get it done, but I decided to wait till Spring as it's just too cold out, don't think the paint will dry well in this cold weather. Gives me time to get it right the fisrt time. Also, looking forward to seeing if Toto's new method (it's on another thread under Detail University) worked well.
