I clayed and waxed my car about a month ago and it was looking good. My neighbor put new sod on her lawn the other day. When they dug up the dirt it must have gotten to my car. The paint was not really dirty (which I wouldn't have minded) but was very rough to the touch. It never felt so rough. Washing and quick detailing did nothing. I had to clay again this morning and put on some Finish Kare 1000 (I'm in Florida). Car is good now. Watch out for this!!!!!!!!!

I'm sort of surprised that dust and debris became embedded so quickly and wouldn't wash off with a quality car wash.

However...............at least it's pristine again and life continues...

I was just saying if your next door neighbor is digging up dirt, it will create a grit on your car. You will need to clay the car to get the grit off. Just telling people to watch out for this, and move your car.
