Just to note in case anyone doesn't get the Autogeek Newsletter, in the edition that went out last week there was a little tidbit of news...

July 19th Autogeek Newsletter (http://hosted.verticalresponse.com/977061/53d8d37f00/1589544001/b275c6bd94/)

Here's the announcement... it was right under the announcement for a second season for What's in the Garage?

AND Autogeek is now the main sponsor of Dennis Gage's My Classic Car!

Changes coming soon...
Look to see some new changes taking place on My Classic Car! For example the Egge sign will probably be replaced with the Autogeek.net Logo with Ivan.

Dennis is without a doubt one of the best and easiest guys to work with on set and I'm looking forward to working with him more in the future...

Mike, did Dennis mention how the rebuilding is coming on his house and garage after the fire?

He hasn't really talked about it on his web site.

We shot 3 how-to features with Dennis Gage the second week of October, if you click the link below you'll see a picture of the 1964 GTO we used in two of the how-to features parked outside of his studio. If you look at the green Chevy truck picture below the GTO picuture, you can see that it's in the My Classic Car studio.

One Week on the Road with Max for Operation Comfort (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/29740-one-week-road-max-operation-comfort.html)

Was able to work on some pretty cool cars... like this 1964 GTO Convertible...

And a classic, 1957 Chevy Pickup...

The house fire (http://www.courierpress.com/photos/galleries/2010/dec/23/house-fire-13930-brownwood-lane/16224/) took place a few months later in late December.

I've heard he's rebuilding a new house at a new location on his property and that's all I know. We'll be back at his studio in the near future and probably have a chance to see how things are progressing.

***Update***

The how-to segment featuring Pinnacle Products and a classic 1964 Convertible GTO will air the following dates,

Tuesday, November 29th @ 3:00pm Eastern Time/12:00pm Pacific Time <--Today

Sunday, December 4th @ 10:00am Eastern Time & 7:00am Pacific Time

Tuesday, December 6th @ 3:00pm Eastern Time & 12:00pm Pacific time

Sunday, Dec 11th @ 9:30am Eastern Time & 6:30am Pacific Time

This how-to segment came out very good and the before and after difference was very dramatic on the GTO

What you don't see...Behind the scenes, after I removed the swirls on one side of the tape-line, the entire crew came over to inspect the results and were amazed to see all the swirls were removed.

Actually, pretty much every time we do this, afterwards the entire crew walks over and checks out the results. The first time Max and I worked wit Dennis Gage and his crew they didn't know what to expect, now they know...

:D
