I currently use the LC Yellow CCS Foam App.
Is there anything ~softer~ that that when applying waxes/sealants.

For my Jet Black BMW....I've settled in on a Optiseal.
If you even look at the paint wrong, it tends to mar.

There is a very useful pad chart here somewhere, I have it in PDF, but I cannot attach it, let me know if you don't find it, I can email it to you.

Yellow is to remove heavy defects such as heavy swirling and scratches.
You should use red if you are just applying wax

Here is a link to a pad chart.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood you. I was thinking on the polisher pads...I have used the terry cloth towels and MF to apply them. My favorite was the MF applicator.

You may want to try these:

I love the Opti-Seal choice. I apply Opti-Seal directly to the paint and wipe with a Costco MicroFiber Towel...perfect results. I did try the yellow foam pad that was included with the order but it made the application process cumberson.

good luck

I use the Gold pads for applying wax. They are so soft that if you throw them up into the air they actually have hang time.

I use the LC Kompressor Gold

Yup. Those are the ones I use...
Looking for something even softer...

I don't even dare hand dry my car. Leaf blower and very moist MF with QD to catch any odd spots.
