You folks have talked about painting trim as one option. Below is a picture of the trim on my wifes car. The top edge of the plastic trim on each side of the rear window is worn through to white plastic (another good reason to tape, but, oh no, I can get by without taping.........).
Anyway, what kind of paint do I use???

Uhmm thats scary since I hate taping...

But if I remember correctly your local autoparts store has a trim paint that they sell.

Remember you defintley must tape if you plan to spray paint.

Thanks 2Kred. I found some on here. Had no idea. When I Googled it sent me back to AG.

If you are going anywhere near the car with a spraybomb I would recommend covering everything you don't want paint on. A couple of rolls of cheap plastic from you local hardware store (paint department) works great.

Is that rubber or flexible plastic?

I had much success using SemCoat products on the fender flares of my Nissan Frontier. It was a 2 step process (3 if you wanted to clearcoat it all). There is a primer/prep and then the color coat.

A decent body shop should have their products. They arent cheap, but they held up for a long time (and would have held up longer if someone didnt make an illegal left turn right into my truck)

Colorbond is my favorite plastic trim paint. But I've only used it on interior trim so far...

Thanks everyone. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to see what I can find. Really appreciate the ideas.
