Griot's doesn't seem to explain the abrasiveness of their #4 Machine Polish. But I would have to say PO85RD. Very popular finishing polish.

I don't have any experence with Griots, but 205 is more on par with Menz 106fa and PO85rd has less cut and is more of a jewling polish.

PO85RD- Menzerna Finish PO85RD is made with a very finely ground abrasive powder that leaves no marring or surface haze. Therefore it will feel like it has a slight grit. But as Tom said PO85RD is a great jeweling polish.

M205- Has SMAT(Super Micro Abrasive Technology). So therefore the polish won't feel gritty. Have you ever use PO85RD after M205?

Basically what I understand a lot of people would use PO85RD as the final BEFORE glazing, waxing etc etc.

About to polish up a car before its loaded up on a trailer and sent to Texas to its new home and yes I'll be finishing up before laying down a LSP with PO85RD.

I dont feel 205 finishes down quite as well as 085rd , so for finishing only I prefer Menzerna.
